"I think it was hard to win, because everybody was in the same new environment. And because there was nothing else, I think that made it harder to win games," Lillard said in an interview.
Lillard admitted that some people were affected by the isolated environment from a mental health perspective, but he made it clear that everyone was physically well and ready.

In the first round of the playoffs, the Blazers met the Lakers, and Lillard played in four of the five games. He performed well in the series, averaging 24.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists, while shooting 40.6% from the field and 39.4% from beyond the arc.
